Studying a New Pneumococcal Disease Vaccine Among Healthy Toddlers
Your child is being asked to join this study because they are healthy, between 12 to 15 months old, and have had 3 doses of Prevnar 20®. The study will test a new vaccine to see if it can protect against a germ that causes infections in children. The goal is to check if the vaccine is safe and helps the body make antibodies to fight the germ.

Testing a New Lung Cancer Risk Test
The purpose of this study is to test the Percepta Nasal Swab, a new nasal swab test for lung cancer risk. We want to see how useful this test is for determining lung cancer risk when a lung nodule is found during cancer screening.

Testing Ways to Find People for Blood Cancer Screening
The purpose of this study is to test recruitment methods to find and sign up people for a blood screening study. The results will help us decide if we can do a bigger study later. You are invited to join because you are Black and/or African American, live in Charlotte, NC or nearby, and are at least 30 years old. This study will also check how many people have a blood condition that might lead to blood cancer.

Studying Factors for Successful Knee Injury Recovery in Athletes
The purpose of this research study is to find out what helps our patients recover well after a knee ligament injury and surgery. We are looking for healthy volunteers who participate in organized sports, have not hurt their knees before, and have not had surgery on their spine, hip, knee, ankle, or foot. If you volunteer for this study, you will need to come for a single visit lasting about 2 hours. We will contact you for up to 2 years to see if you get any injuries. This study will help researchers learn new information that may help others in the future.
