Helping People with HIV Quit Smoking Using Apps
The purpose of this study is to learn more about two different ways to help people with HIV quit smoking. The first way is to use the app called QuitStart along with the use of nicotine gum and patches. The second way is to use the app called Learn to Quit-HIV (LTQ-H) along with the use of nicotine gum and patches. We will compare each way to understand the pros and cons of each approach. We are looking for volunteers who have HIV and have smoked cigarettes every day in the past 30 days.

The purpose of this study is to learn more about the opinions and preferences of older adults living with chronic conditions such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), diabetes, COPD and other chronic health conditions. We want to learn more about their experience with medication regimens.
