About This Study
This study examines different treatments for people whose brain tumors come back after radiation treatment. All patients will have a biopsy first and results will impact following treatment:
If the tumor is growing back: Everyone gets laser treatment. Half the patients also get more radiation. Doctors want to see if the extra radiation helps. If it's brain swelling from past radiation: Some patients get laser treatment. Others get steroid medicine. Doctors will compare these two treatments. All treatments are already used by doctors. The study hopes to find the best way to help patients live longer and feel better. Patients can get other treatments during the study if needed. Doctors will check on patients for 2 years after the biopsy. The goal is finding better ways to treat brain problems after radiation treatment.
